Sprinklers that water the lawn, not the driveway.
Owner-operated irrigation installation, repair and tune-ups in Nevada County. Every job is done by a QWEL certified irrigation technician.
Start with a WISE call
A WISE call (Water and Irrigation System Evaluation) is a flat-rate checkup, and it’s where most new customers begin. You get a clear picture of how your system is running and a controller set up to match your landscape.
- A full evaluation of your whole system
- Sprinkler adjustments for better coverage
- Your controller programmed with a watering schedule
Small system
$200
1–6 zones
Medium system
$300
7–11 zones
Large system
$400
12–16 zones
Systems with more than 16 zones: $400 plus $40 for each additional zone. Major repairs aren’t part of a WISE call. If we find any, we’ll go over what we found and what we recommend.

How a repair visit works
The same four steps every time, so you know what to expect.
We find the cause
We check the whole system from controller to heads, so we fix the real problem and not just the symptom.
We explain your options
You hear what we found and what it will cost before any work starts.
We make the repair
Parts are replaced or fixed and the system is put back together cleanly.
We test every zone
We run each affected zone and adjust it until coverage is even.
Sprinkler repair questions
The things homeowners ask us most.
Why won’t my sprinkler head pop up?
Common causes are low pressure, a clogged nozzle, a worn seal, a broken pipe or a failing valve. We trace the cause before replacing anything.
Why is one zone not working?
A dead zone usually comes from a bad solenoid, a failed valve, a wiring problem, the controller or a damaged pipe. We test the zone from end to end.
Why are there wet spots in my yard?
Persistent wet spots often point to a leak in a pipe, valve or fitting. If the water isn’t coming from your sprinklers, it may be a drainage issue.
Should I repair or replace my controller?
It depends on its age and condition. A newer smart controller adjusts watering to the weather, which can save water over time. We’ll tell you honestly which makes sense.
How often should my system be checked?
At least once a year. A spring start-up check catches broken heads and leaks before the hot months, when your lawn needs the water most.
How much does a repair cost?
It depends on the problem. Call or email us and we’ll talk through what’s going on.
